Arbusto muy ramificado, de
hasta 1,5 m de altura, con espinas de 3 puntas. Hojas verde oscuro
punzantes, flores amarillas péndulas que abren en Septiembre / Octubre.
Fruto en forma de baja redonda negro-azulada. Hay varias especies de
Calafate y la tradición local dice que quine coma de su fruto,
indefectiblemente volverá a la Patagonia. |

Very branchy shrub, up to 1,5
m tall, with three-pointed thons. Dark-green leaves ending in a little
thorn, yellow drooping flowers blooming in September / October. The
fruit is a blueish-black round berry. There are several Calafate
species and the local tradition says, that who eats the fruit will
unfailingly come back to Patagonia. |

Sehr werzweigter Busch, etwa
1,5 m hoch, mit dreizackigen Dornen. Dunkelgrúne, in einem Kleinen Dorn
endende Blátter, gelbe hängende Blüten ab September bis Oktober.
Blauschwarze Beeren. Es gibt verschiedene Calafate-Aten von denen eine
örtliche Tradition besagt, dass wieder nach Patagonien zurückkehrt wer
von seinen Früchten isst. |
