Hojas color verde claro formando roseta, gruesas y lanceoladas, de cuyo
centro emerge un tallo de hasta 40 cm de altura, terminando en un racimo
de flores amarillo-anaranjadas. Crece en zona árida y también boscosa
de cipreses, hasta cierta altura en la montaña. |

green, thick and oblong leaves forming a rosette, from the center of
which arises a 40 cm tall stem, ending in a bunch of yellow-orange
flowers. It grows in dry areas and cypress-woods on the mountains. |

Ochidee
Jährlich wiederkehrende Pflanze mit einem Büschel dicker, fleischiger
Wurzeln. Hellgrüne ineinander greifende, dicke und lange Blätter, aus
deren Mitte ein bis zu 40 cm langer Stiel wächst mit einem Büschel
gelb-orangener Blüten. Sie gedeiht auf trockenem Gelände und im
Zypressen-Wald in den Bergen. |
